The US tourist/business visa (B1/B2) is the most sought-after by Brazilians. It doesn't guarantee entry — the immigration officer decides — but a well-prepared case greatly improves your chances.
Step by step
- DS-160 form online, in English. A mistake here can cost a denial.
- Consular fee (MRV) payment, non-refundable.
- Two-stage booking: CASV (photo and fingerprints) and consulate (interview).
- Short interview: the focus is your ties to Brazil and your intent to return.
Interview waiver: if your visa expired less than 48 months ago, you may qualify for drop-box renewal, without visiting the consulate.

I want the visa consultation
I want the visa consultation ->Informational content. Visa approval is the sole decision of US authorities; Chigo provides consulting, with no ties to the consulate.
